About This Role

At ELV Projects, we are seeking an experienced MEP Site Engineer to join our team in India. As a MEP Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing parts of our construction projects, providing technical advice, and solving problems on-site and within scope.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to staff, supervisors, inspectors, and contractors on the installation and maintenance of MEP systems.
  • Analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering issues to ensure project success.
  • Oversee the work of various teams, including general contractors, and attend progress meetings with clients to ensure project deliverables.
  • Review contractors' shop drawings against design drawings for compliance with design intent and provide feedback to project directors within specified timelines.
  • Liaise with quantity surveyors to order and price materials for projects.
  • Identify and address design, planning, and project management issues to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver effective oral presentations to stakeholders as required.
  • Inform project heads of any technical aspects affecting construction progress.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction, with supervisory or project oversight experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical plans, scopes of work, and community features.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team.
  • Working knowledge of MIVAN Shuttering and project management from start to finish is an asset.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited university.
