As a seasoned Backend Lead, you will guide the design, development, and optimization of backend systems using Python and Django. Your role will be to lead the team in building scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead architecture, design, and developmentBuild and maintain scalable RESTful APIs with high performance and security standardsOversee integration with third-party services and internal toolsEnsure best practices for security, authentication, and data protectionOptimize system performance and scalabilityManage cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver featuresMentor and coach backend developers, conduct code reviews, and define technical guidelinesDrive adoption of CI/CD, automated testing, and software engineering best practicesRequired Skills and Qualifications:
  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of backend development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong expertise in Python and Django framework
  • Hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
  • Strong cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
