Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced electrical design professional to join our team. This is a key role that requires a strong background in electrical engineering, design management and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, 4-15 years of experience in consultant design, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Aplies professional knowledge and experienced judgement to independently design complex projects.
  • Adequate knowledge in Electrical designs - Electrical Distribution Panels, Lighting, Cable management systems, Outdoor lighting, Indoor lighting; Lux Level Calculations; load estimation; Voltage drop and short circuits calculations; ELV systems – Fire alarm, PAVA, CCTV, SCS;
  • Hands-on experience in using software tools like Dialux, Amtech
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC, CPWD international codes and practices
  • Well conversant with estimation for RFP's.
  • Responsible in planning, scheduling, and coordinating the technical and management requirements.
  • Effective communication & coordination in multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Mentor - Guiding, training, knowledge, and skill development of mechanical engineering staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from a recognized university
  • Minimum of 4-15 years of experience in consultant design
  • Master's degree holders are given preference
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with international clients and contractors
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT-MEP, and Navisworks is an added advantage
