Key Financial Roles

Our organisation is looking for a Highly Commercial Finance Professional to oversee the management of our financial functions and take on key responsibilities in commercial finance analysis.

  • The role combines responsibility for managing the financial function for our subsidiary as well as taking on analytical tasks for our UK and international business teams.
  • You will be responsible for measuring and analysing business performance, including future projections, and disseminating this information through accurate dashboards and KPIs with subsequent comments and recommendations to internal clients.

Responsibilities:

Financial Manager (India)

  • Planning and execution of audit of Internal Financial control over financial reporting and preparing internal audit report.
  • Responsible for all accounting related issues.
  • Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met.
  • Financial reporting and budgeting, reporting to the management.
  • Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs and manage budget.
  • Responsible for controlling income, cash flow and expenditure. Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information.
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
  • Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
  • Responsible for preparing and managing the process of procurement, stock/inventory, maintaining records of debtors and creditors.
  • Responsible for payroll management.
  • Responsible for preparing and analysing monthly MIS.
  • Responsible for providing ROC compliances, annual filing, incorporation of company etc.
Commercial Analyst

  • Daily sales reporting
  • Analysing financial data and creating/maintaining financial models for decision support.
  • Reporting on financial performance and preparing for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analysing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Representing Finance within the UK Commercial team to ensure that business planning, accounting and control are integrated into the decision-making process within the Commercial function.
  • Participating in Finance and multi-function project teams.
  • Working closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards.
  • Benchmarking analysis
  • Preparing business cases

Person Specification:

  • Strong English language skills.
  • Qualified accountant
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical experience preferable
  • International company experience
  • Management experience to include liaison with internal and external stakeholders such as senior management, auditors, suppliers, banks, insurance providers, contractors etc.
  • Highly analytical
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
  • Self-disciplined, results focused with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to work to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Power BI and CRM systems
