Job Overview

We are seeking an Architect/CAD Technician with at least 3 years of experience working on international projects. This role involves working as part of an architectural drafting team in Bangalore, delivering Architectural documentation and design information utilising BIM at all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Preparation: Prepare design information in Autodesk/CAD, understanding technical construction requirements to inform the production of design information.
  • Quality Control: Review and QC design information prepared by colleagues prior to formal approval.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential design issues and come up with solutions to mitigate.
  • Statutory Compliance: Have an excellent understanding of statutory requirements for compliance.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to meetings and document preparation to present proposals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of UK building regulations and working to international standards.
  • Software Proficiency: Working capability and proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Requirements

  • Technical Design Knowledge: Strong technical design knowledge/skills in UK construction methodology.
  • Team Experience: Experience of working as part of an architectural design team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent conceptual, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Language Fluency: Fluency in English (oral and written) required.

Salary Range: ₹35 lakhs - ₹50 lakhs per annum (dependent on experience).
