Front-End Visualization Developer

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Visualization Developer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer to design and implement accessible data visualizations using React, Raphael JS, and SVG.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop interactive data visualizations that meet accessibility standards.
  • Maintain clean and semantic code across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Conduct thorough accessibility testing using automated tools and manual evaluation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and usable visualization tools.
  • Develop and maintain consistent accessibility guidelines and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging accessibility standards and best practices in data visualization.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of front-end development experience with a focus on visualization tools.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Proficiency in Raphael JS and SVG for building data visualizations.
  • Thorough understanding of WCAG and ARIA standards.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

  • Experience with user research or usability testing for data visualization.
  • Familiarity with additional data visualization frameworks/libraries.
  • Contributions to open-source accessibility efforts or involvement in related communities.
