Senior Fashion Designer Job

We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer who can create innovative ethnic designs with a blend of tradition and trend.

  • Design Development: Conceptualize and design ethnic blouses that showcase innovation and heritage appeal. Create new collections by combining traditional elements with modern twists, ensuring each piece is unique yet cohesive.
  • Sketching and Illustration: Develop hand-drawn sketches for the product development process, focusing on intricate details and quality output.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life, leveraging expertise in sourcing, production, and sampling to ensure seamless execution.
  • Trend Research: Stay updated on emerging trends in ethnic wear, embroidery, and fabric innovations, applying this knowledge to drive creative decisions.
Requirements
  • Fashion Experience: 2–5 years of fashion design experience in ethnic wear, preferably with a focus on blouse designs.
  • Artistic Skills: Possess strong abilities in freehand illustration and sketching, with an eye for detail and color combinations.
  • Education: A degree in Fashion Design or related field is preferred, showcasing a solid foundation in design principles and practices.
  • Design Knowledge: Demonstrate understanding of blouse fits, silhouettes, fabric detailing, and embellishments, as well as cultural sensitivity and awareness.
  • Attention to Detail: Exhibit keen attention to detail, color combinations, and ethnic design sensibilities, resulting in high-quality designs that meet brand standards.
Bonus Requirements
  • Brand Experience: Experience working with saree or ethnic apparel brands would be advantageous, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Craft Revival: Showcase passion for reviving traditional crafts through contemporary silhouettes, highlighting creativity and innovation.
