Technical Lead Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to guide our growing team of software engineers and help deliver scalable, high-impact solutions for the life sciences industry.

  • Mentor and support junior engineers while fostering technical growth and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to plan and deliver new features aligned with business goals.
  • Take ownership of project execution from technical design to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript (Node.js, React.js) and Java, as well as a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience deploying applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB).

Additionally, they should have experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) and be familiar with RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation. Experience with AI/ML tools is also a plus.

The Technical Lead will work closely with leadership to continuously evolve engineering processes, tools, and best practices as the team scales.

Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years as a tech lead.
  • Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript (Node.js, React.js) and Java.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience deploying applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB).
  • Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
