About This Role :

As a Solution Architect at Versa Networks, you will play a key role in helping our customers and partners evaluate, adopt, and expand the use of our cutting-edge technology.

You will be part of an experienced engineering team developing high-performance packet and security service processing capabilities on new compute platforms.

The ideal candidate must have experience with developing software for industry leading multi-core architecture systems, network and security interfaces, and be able to develop best practices and guidelines for such applications.

Job Description :

This Senior Network/Security Datapath/Infrastructure Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance forwarding software.

You will work closely with our development team to design, develop, and maintain next-generation packet forwarding and security features for SD-WAN/SASE/SSE platforms.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system test, PLM, and TAC, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our products.

Required Skills And Qualifications :

- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP and advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies.

- Expertise in general routing/switching, routing protocols (e.g BGP, OSPF), branch and data center architectures.

- Hands-on experience with packet processing pipelines and remote access VPN solutions (IPSEC, PKI & SSL).

- Strong Linux kernel development skills and prior experience working with DPDK and multicore systems are highly desirable.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze performance benchmarks are essential.
