As a software engineer in the Core Banking team, you play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital banking. You will collaborate with leading cloud banking platforms to develop an industry-leading banking system that is reliable and agile.

About the Role

You will immerse yourself in the world of digital banking, mastering domains such as deposits, loans, clearing and settlements, basic accounting, and local payment gateways. Your primary responsibilities include developing, testing, and deploying code with numerical precision in handling monetary values while satisfying non-functional quality gates on static code analysis, software composite analysis, SAST, and DAST.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and build loosely-coupled, high-performing, scalable, API-first microservices that empower businesses with agility.
  2. Proactively engage with product owners to align on requirements.
  3. Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle.
  4. Share good ideas, knowledge, and skills to enhance team dynamics by promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and software engineering craftsmanship.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java or Kotlin, Spring Boot, SQL, and messaging platforms like Apache Kafka.
  • Great test writing skills and experience in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience in relational databases and/or non-relational databases including transaction management, query optimization, schema design.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience in microservice architecture, API design taking scalability, maintainability, and supportability into consideration.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
