  • Risk Management & Litigation Specialist


Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management & Litigation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our business strategies by providing expert guidance on compliance and litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance frameworks.
  • Provide timely and practical legal advice and assistance to various business units.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of all pleadings and documentation related to litigations.
  • Anticipate legal support needs of the business and help define and drive strategic legal plans for new business initiatives.


Requirements:

  • LLB degree from a reputable university; LLM is a plus
  • Post-qualification experience in the corporate sector
  • Proven expertise in IT Act, data protection regulation laws
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise, and business-focused legal advice
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and risk identification
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal projects independently and collaboratively
  • Mature mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and a high degree of integrity
