Job Title: Regulatory Expert Lead

This position is allocated to our Product Stewardship organisation and we are seeking a highly motivated and proactive team member.

In this role, you will take necessary measures to ensure marketability in regulated countries, specifically in EMEA. You will advise Sales and other functions on chemical regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and managing REACH like registration projects according to the global registration strategy. This involves planning, managing, preparing, and submitting substance registration dossiers. You will also advise the business on potential strategies, manage consortia representation and communications under REACH like regulations, contribute to relationships with EU/UK national associations and EU/UK REACH authority activities, follow EU/UK REACH developments, and support other Product Stewardship pillars.

The position will be located in India.

Requirements:
  • Over 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • A chemistry background.
  • Understanding of worldwide chemical regulatory frameworks and specifically EU and UK REACH.
  • Basic knowledge in toxicology/ecotoxicology/phys-chem and analytics.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with business functions and customers to capture key information and determine business needs.
  • An adaptable and self-motivated team worker in an international environment, able to work on own initiative.
  • A flexible, non-bureaucratic style working collaboratively and effectively with individuals throughout the entire company.
