Job Description

The Finance Manager position plays a pivotal role in driving business success by overseeing the company's financial operations.

This key role involves focusing on US Accounting, where you will handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). It entails analyzing financial data, monitoring cash flow, and supporting treasury functions while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, assisting with audits, and collaborating closely with teams like Sales and Operations for financial planning.

This strategic position is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with business goals, producing budgets, forecasts, and financial models, and analyzing variances and trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Strategy
    • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Produce comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and models, and analyze variances and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Prepare, review, and present monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to stakeholders.
    • Conduct thorough financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making and improve profitability.
  • Cash & Treasury Management
    • Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital, maintaining banking relationships to optimize financial performance.
    • Oversee treasury functions, including lines of credit, interest, FX exposure, and liquidity management.
  • Compliance & Controls
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting policies, and internal controls to maintain transparency and integrity.
    • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors/tax advisors to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Supervise finance/accounting staff, providing coaching and performance management to enhance team performance.
    • Work collaboratively across functions (e.g., sales, procurement, ops) for budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and other financial initiatives.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement efficiency initiatives in financial processes and systems to drive productivity and reduce costs.
    • Maintain and upgrade ERP/financial software, standardizing workflows to improve operational efficiency.
