We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to fill a critical role in our engineering team. This position involves designing and implementing scalable data systems using Apache Ray.
- Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the smooth operation, monitoring, and triage of all aspects of our production and non-production environments.
- Automate deployment and orchestration of services into cloud environments as well as other routine processes.
- Work on multiple cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
- Participate actively in capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Collaborate with and support partner teams, including Engineering, QA, and program management.
- Troubleshoot customer concerns for ML Tuning and inference endpoints on Ray.
- Design and implement RESTful/RPC APIs and services using Golang or Python.
- Implement SLO/SLI and error budget reporting for various customers
Requirements:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Apache Ray.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Golang or Python.
- Experience working with cloud environments like AWS and GCP.
Essential qualifications include:
- A strong foundation in software development and data engineering principles.
- Proven expertise in cloud-based data processing and analytics.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Ray.
