Eye Specialist Role

Ophthalmologists are crucial in annotating and labeling medical data to develop AI and ML models for ophthalmology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and annotating various ophthalmic data, identifying anatomical structures and disease markers.
• Applying standardized grading protocols consistently for accurate and consistent labeling.
• Maintaining annotation consistency through calibration sessions and reviews.
• Collaborating with AI engineers and data scientists to ensure clinical validity of guidelines.
• Validating AI model outputs for clinical accuracy and safety.
• Creating or reviewing patient education materials for AI/ML algorithms.
• Ensuring compliance with patient privacy and data security policies.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from a reputable medical school with at least 1-2 years of clinical experience.
• Extensive knowledge of various eye conditions.
• Experience in clinical data review and documentation.
• Attention to detail for accurate annotation.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
