Job Role

We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for crafting robust network security solutions with a strong emphasis on firewalls and proxy technologies.

The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess security requirements, implement and fine-tune firewall and proxy configurations, and ensure secure connectivity across enterprise environments.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive firewall solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Configure and maintain Fortinet FortiGate and Checkpoint Next Generation Firewalls within enterprise settings.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and apply necessary remediation measures.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to define firewall rules, policies, and access controls.
  • Implement and manage proxy configurations to ensure secure and optimized internet and application access.
  • Conduct regular reviews of firewall and proxy policies to ensure alignment with security standards.
  • Document architecture, configurations, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support the transition to managed security operations, including coordination with external security partners or in-house SOC teams.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Network Security Governance
  • Experience with Firewall Architecture, Fortinet FortiGate Firewall, Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Firewall Architecture
  • Proven expertise with Fortinet FortiGate Firewall configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Checkpoint Next Generation Firewalls in enterprise settings
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and frameworks
