Ruby on Rails Developer

We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and secure web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust, reusable, and maintainable Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Implement advanced features and functionalities using Ruby language fundamentals, idioms, and metaprogramming.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in Ruby (language fundamentals, idioms, metaprogramming).
  • Deep understanding of OOP, mixins, blocks, procs, and lambdas.
  • Familiarity with memory management, GC tuning, and performance profiling.
  • Experience with frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Grape, ActiveRecord, ActiveJob, ActionCable, ActiveModel validations, Engines, initializers, routing, and lifecycle callbacks.
  • Comfortable deploying and optimizing Passenger, Thin.
  • Deeper understanding of Thread vs. process models, Connection handling, worker tuning, memory profiling.
  • PostgreSQL and advanced usage of ActiveRecord.
  • Experience optimizing N+1 queries, indexes, and query plans.
  • Proficient with Bundler, Rake, Rubygems.
  • Gem building and custom gem publishing.
  • Knowledge of RVM, rbenv, chruby.
