Data Curator Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Data Curator.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Curate, organize, and maintain large datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Develop and implement data curation strategies including cleansing, transformation, and standardization.
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather and interpret data requirements.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval solutions for improved accessibility and usability.
  • Maintain documentation for data curation processes, including data dictionaries and metadata standards.
  • Monitor data integrity, identify issues, and apply corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in data curation, data management, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, governance, and quality assurance.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Problem-solving skills with track record of resolving data-related issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of machine learning and statistical analysis concepts.
