Internal Audit Associate

As a Junior Internal Auditor at Access Healthcare Services, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and testing internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in auditing financial processes, identifying control deficiencies, and contributing to the overall risk management efforts of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and execution of ICFR testing procedures under the guidance of senior team members.
- Document and evaluate internal controls related to financial reporting processes.
- Perform testing of control activities to assess their effectiveness in mitigating financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand business processes.
- Prepare workpapers and assist in the preparation of audit reports.
- Participate in meetings with process owners to discuss control deficiencies and remediation plans.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and internal audit best practices.
- Basic understanding of internal controls and financial processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant internal audit experience, with a focus on ICFR testing.
- Working knowledge of ICFR and MAR compliance requirements with healthcare industry knowledge preferred.
