Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust embedded software architectures for diverse hardware platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex electronics design issues, employing expert-level debugging techniques to resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Craft efficient C/C++ code tailored for real-time systems and low-power environments, prioritizing reliability and speed.
  • Partner with hardware engineers to define system architecture, specifications, and integration requirements, fostering a cohesive product vision.
  • Develop firmware, drivers, and hardware-software interfaces, guaranteeing compatibility and interoperability across various systems.
  • Lead system integration, testing, and troubleshooting efforts for embedded systems, driving quality and reducing time-to-market.
  • Implement and debug communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet, ensuring seamless data exchange and transmission.
  • Optimize system performance, focusing on memory, power consumption, and CPU efficiency, to meet stringent industry standards.
  • Maintain meticulous technical documentation for system architecture, designs, and code, facilitating knowledge sharing and scalability.
  • Engage in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for hardware and software validation, ensuring products meet the highest quality benchmarks.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in programming fundamentals.
  • 4+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Embedded C, and Assembly is highly desirable, with expertise in assembly language and microcontrollers.
  • Experience with IoT, Wireless Communication (BLE, Wi-Fi), or AI/ML in embedded systems is a significant plus, showcasing adaptability and innovative thinking.
  • Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and debugging tools like JTAG, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, promoting collaborative development and version management.
  • Knowledge of hardware communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc., guaranteeing seamless data exchange and transmission.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to resolving complex challenges.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment, embracing change and driving progress.
  • Experience in medical devices is highly valued, but not mandatory, as we welcome candidates with transferable skills and a passion for the field.
