Job Title: DB2 Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DB2 Mainframe developer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DB2 system tools, catalog reorgs, query monitor, and RACF/Top-Secret.
  • They will also have a good understanding of Catalog and Directory, as well as hands-on experience with various DB2 Utilities both online and offline like IDCAMS, COPY, RECOVER, CHECK DATA, REORG, RUNSTATS, REBUILD, LOAD/UNLOAD, DSNJU003, DSJU004 etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design, implement and maintain large-scale DB2 systems.
  • To develop and support complex SQL applications.
  • To perform data backups, restores and disaster recovery procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of BSDS, Log copies, ZPARMS, Buffer-pool Managements, Storage, Thread, Locks, ZFS file systems.
  • Change Management process & versioning tools.
  • DB2 for z/OS, SMS, TSO.
  • Graduate – Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred).
  • Preferred certifications: IBM DB2 Database Administration on Z/OS platform.
