Job Opportunity:

Direct Tax Advisory Professional

We are seeking an experienced Direct Tax Advisory Professional to join our team.

As a key member, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on direct tax matters, including structuring and advisory on deals. You will also draft and review deal documents, handhold clients in conceptualizing their India entry/exit strategy, and advise on structuring through the IFSC Gift City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake health checks and prepare due diligence reports.
  • Assist in lower withholding applications, condonation applications, assessments, appeals at all levels.
  • Engage with Senior Counsels to prepare synopsis and briefing.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in international tax issues, including PE, profit attribution, business connection, expat tax, ESOPs, indirect transfer, POEM, capital repatriation, royalty, FTS, broadcasting rights, tax transparent entities, etc.
