Job Overview
The PSI team is seeking an experienced Sales Development Specialist to spearhead pre-sales efforts, lead research, and drive market intelligence initiatives.
This role is pivotal in cultivating a high-quality sales pipeline, identifying novel business opportunities, and informing data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes within the IT/Tech sector.
- Develop and maintain structured databases of high-value leads utilizing tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, and other prospecting platforms.
- Evaluate and qualify leads based on their business potential, technical requirements, and sales criteria.
- Generate and validate leads through targeted research, outreach, and direct engagement (calls/emails).
- Support the Business Development team by coordinating client meetings and preparing briefing materials.
- Collaborate with sales teams to prioritize high-potential leads for outreach efforts.
- Maintain and update lead tracking databases, ensuring accurate and complete data.
- Analyze lead conversion metrics and response rates to refine research and sales strategies.
- Assist in crafting sales materials, including pitch decks, case studies, and outreach content.
- Present market insights and lead research findings to leadership, informing strategic decision-making processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in pre-sales, lead research, business development, or sales support roles within the IT/Tech industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is beneficial.
- Proficiency with Apollo and other lead generation tools.
- Demonstrated analytical and research skills, accompanied by a detail-oriented approach.
- Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for organizing and analyzing data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A willingness to learn new tools and adapt to fast-paced environments.
