Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-based systems that meet business requirements
- Migrate existing systems to cloud platforms
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security
- Develop and implement cloud security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in cloud computing
- Proficient in AWS Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
- Strong Linux/UNIX experience
- Hands-on experience in Terraform
- Experience in AWS Cloud platforms across a wide range of services
- Experience in implementing AWS Cloud Security
- Experience using Postgres databases (preferred)
- Knowledge of Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, and Route 53 for traffic management
- Experience with Network Access Control List, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail
- Ability to design Highly Available and/or Fault-Tolerant Architectures
- Experience with open-source technologies and tools
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-scale solutions in Kubernetes
- Understanding of optimized coding for memory consumption, performance, scalability, security, caching, etc.
- Experience with Docker, HELM, and Kubernetes (mandatory)
- Experience working with scripting languages (YAML)
- Experience with stateless/stateful applications deployed on Kubernetes in production environments
- Working experience with AWS and Kubernetes API
- Experience with reporting and analysis tools for cloud platforms
- Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines from scratch
Preferred Skills:
- Background in Java for API development
