Overview of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at a solar project site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical works are executed in line with approved engineering designs and industry standards.

The role also involves providing real-time design support for site-specific modifications in module mounting structures, trackers, and mechanical layouts, acting as a bridge between our Head Office (HO) Mechanical Design Team and Site Execution Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and Interpret Designs
  • Create Site-Specific Drawings
  • Conduct Structural Checks
  • Verify Foundation Positions
  • Support Fabrication and Erection Quality Checks
  • Issue Red-Marked Drawings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Similar Design/Drafting Tools
  • Strong Knowledge of MMS, Trackers, and Steel Structures Used in Solar Projects
  • Understanding of IS/IEC Codes, Wind Load Standards, Welding/Fabrication Practices
  • B.E./B.tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
  • 5–8 Years of Experience in Mechanical Design and Site Execution (Solar/Renewable/Industrial Projects Preferred)
