Research Intern

Chintan Research Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Intern to provide evidence-based insights for global climate policies.

The ideal candidate will have strong research and analytical skills, with experience in data analysis tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or NVivo. They should be able to conduct in-depth research and data analysis for focus areas, lead and contribute to high-quality analytical research reports, policy papers, and articles, and collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives.
  • Oversee projects and discussions, including planning and coordination responsibilities.
  • Establish a network of industry participants and collaborate with partners.
  • Review published literature on research topics.
  • Supervise undergraduate project interns or personnel on research-related tasks.
  • Assist with manuscript or grant development.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
  • Organize events, seminars, and workshops.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, including engineering or energy economics.
  • PhD in the given domain is an advantage.
  • 0-1 years of work experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and research software.
  • Ability to work/lead as part of a team or independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple research projects.
  • Strong relationship skills and team ethics.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and deliver under tight deadlines.
