Backend Developer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs. This role demands strong coding expertise, system design skills, and experience in building high-performance backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Rust, along with expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis. A solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design, microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
  • Implement server-side logic, databases, and data storage solutions.
  • Optimize database schemas, queries, and indexes for efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks; implement caching and load balancing.
  • Ensure backend security against common threats (SQL injection, XSS, etc.).
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.
  • Mentor junior developers and ensure coding best practices.
  • Develop and run unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and maintain uptime reliability.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
  • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Expertise in RESTful and GraphQL API design.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of Git version control.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Memcached.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform/Ansible.
  • Exposure to frameworks such as Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Go Micro.
