Job Title:

Chief Innovation Officer

Description:

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive technology innovation and strategy across our organization. As Chief Innovation Officer, you will be responsible for spearheading digital transformation initiatives, collaborating with senior leadership, and overseeing application development and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technology Leadership & Strategy
    • Understand business strategy and nuances of business operations.
    • Define and execute an IT strategy aligned with business goals.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and participate in operations meetings.
    • Lead digital transformation initiatives and introduce emerging technologies relevant to Learning & Development.
  • People & Process Management
    • Implement and optimize IT processes using Agile and Lean methodologies.
    • Manage service partner relationships effectively.
    • Manage, nurture and build a team that can grow with the growing needs of the organization.
  • Product & Platform Oversight
    • Oversee application development and maintenance, including platforms built on Java, JavaScript, MongoDB, MySQL/PLSQL, AWS, Azure, Docker, and containers.
    • Manage website maintenance and SEO initiatives; WordPress experience is a plus.
    • Ensure smooth functioning of SharePoint and MS Dynamics platforms.
  • IT Operations & Support
    • Handle IT infrastructure, including internet, data, and call plans.
    • Provide after-hours and weekend support for urgent IT issues.
    • Manage IT risk, compliance, and security; knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks is a plus.
  • Project & Budget Management
    • Lead and guide project execution with strong project management skills.
    • Manage IT budgets for at least the past 5 years.
    • Ensure timely delivery and quality of technology projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand needs and deliver IT solutions.
    • Ensure high levels of service delivery and satisfaction.
