3D Scanner Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Scanner Specialist to join our team at Praxsol Engineering Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have experience with 3D scanning technologies, including FARO and other scanners, and will be able to collect and process 3D scan data with high accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Collect 3D scan data on and off-site using FARO or other scanners
  
• Perform 3D scanning using FARO or other scanners
  
• Post-processing (registration) of 3D laser scan data and point cloud analysis
  
• As-built modeling and modifications, guiding and resolving modeling issues, and performing dimensional analysis on scan data
  
• Integrate scan data into design models using industry-standard software
  
• Piping and Isometrics, Structural (e.g., silos, conveyors, etc.), and buildings
  
• Field visits, including mobilizing and demobilizing the laser scan equipment
  
• Responsible for the activities, developments, and issues concerning 3D scanning
  
• Communication and interaction with clients, coordinating with Manager
  
• Coordinating laser scanning tasks within a project
  
• Assist in proposal preparation efforts
  
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices during scanning activities
  
• Familiarity with GD&T and inspection processes is a plus
  
• Strong knowledge of ReCap Pro, BIM Collaborate Pro, Leica Cyclone, and related software
  
• Hands-on experience with 3D modeling plant from like Revit, BIM, AutoCAD Plant 3D/E3D is preferred
