Job Description

The DevSecOps Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the execution, support, and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes within the organization.

This role involves developing and executing test plans for application interfaces and operations, maintaining Sonar Cloud quality gates, and monitoring code quality metrics. The specialist will also track defects from QA findings, conduct release readiness reviews, and validate quality criteria prior to deployment.

Additionally, this role requires preparing and maintaining audit artifacts for compliance and internal/external reviews, performing vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio, and supporting audit readiness and escalating unresolved blockers.

The DevSecOps Quality Assurance Specialist will participate in weekly QA reviews, collaborate with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams, and provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues.

Furthermore, this role involves maintaining and updating system documentation and QA procedures, and preparing weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking is required. Knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud) is also essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role. Additionally, the ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.

Relevant certifications are a plus, and a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required (proven experience can substitute for degree requirement).
