Job Title:

Oracle Database Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with a focus on Oracle databases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance Oracle databases, as well as ensuring data security and integrity.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases to meet business requirements
  • Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups, updates, and monitoring
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other teams on database-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration

Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and design principles

Experience with database performance tuning and optimization

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Skills:

APlus certifications in Oracle Database Administration (OCP, OCA)

Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM/GRID

Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle tools such as OEM and SOA
