Job Description
  • The primary responsibility of the Matchmove Artist will be to derive accurate camera and object 3D solutions, ensuring that all provided specifications are met.
  • This includes tasks such as flagging issues and lack of clarity in tasks, informing relevant supervisors and production managers.
  • Additionally, the Matchmove Artist will need to ensure continuity between scenes and shots when working with other artists on the same project.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of two to four years of experience in a similar role within the live-action visual effects industry for feature films.
  • A firm grasp of 3D tracking principles and toolsets.
  • An eye for detail and precision, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver results to a high standard with the aid and direction of matchmove and layout leads and supervisors.
  • Able to adapt to changes in a production schedule.
  • Aware of project schedules and capable of delivering work to deadlines.
  • Broad understanding of the overall VFX workflow and needs requirements of other departments and disciplines.
  • Good communication skills both technically and creatively.
  • A team player who excels in a collaborative environment.
