Software Architect for Payment Systems

We are looking for a highly skilled software architect to join our team. As a senior staff engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing platform for the payments org.

Your primary focus will be on architecting scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices. You will work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and provide technical structure to teams.

You will also be responsible for building new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang / Java. Your long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems and the teams running them will be crucial in driving our company's success.

About this role:

  • Design and develop platform for the payments org.
  • Architect scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
  • Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang / Java.
  • Work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and provide technical structure to teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills for system design and coding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bias toward open, transparent cultural practices.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
  • Blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum etc..)
  • Golang, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB or DynamoDB.
