Job Position Overview:

A skilled professional is required to work with large data sets, understand stored procedures, and write automation logic. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python or Java coding and strong SQL skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write custom scripts for data validation based on regression test cases
  • Translate stored procedure logic into test automation
  • Compare datasets across environments
  • Collaborate with team members and follow structured practices
  • Contribute to building a central automation script repository
  • Establish and implement comprehensive QA strategies
  • Develop and execute test cases for Fixed Income trading workflows
  • Drive the creation of regression test suites for back-office applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
  • Provide clear reporting on QA progress and metrics
  • Bring expertise in Financial Services Industry products and workflows
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders
  • Independently troubleshoot complex issues
  • Responsible for project delivery, coordination between teams, and client queries
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and maintain quality standards
  • Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to SLA/TAT

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong programming experience in Python (preferred) or Java
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries
  • Understanding stored procedures and using them in automation
  • Experience working with data structures and large datasets
  • Comfort with data manipulation and building comparison scripts
  • Prior exposure to financial data or post-trade systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with test management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with agile project delivery
