Principal Stat Programmer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Stat Programmer with extensive experience in R and R Shiny. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing advanced Shiny applications with a focus on data visualization, performance optimization, and integration with databases.

This role requires strong communication skills and experience in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex applications using R Programming.
  • Lead Advanced Shiny Development, including reactivity, modules, layouts, and custom input/output components.
  • Utilize knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize the appearance and behavior of Shiny applications.
  • Design and implement interactive and insightful data visualizations using libraries like Plotly within Shiny apps.
  • Integrate Shiny applications with databases for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
  • Collaborate with teams using Git for version control and code management.
  • Optimize Shiny applications for superior performance, including minimizing load times and handling large datasets.
  • Implement unit tests, perform debugging, and troubleshoot issues within Shiny applications.
Required Skills
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in R Programming.
  • Advanced skills in Shiny Development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Python and the Selenium testing framework.
  • Expertise in data visualization using libraries like Plotly.
  • Experience with database integration.
  • Proficiency in Git for collaborative development.
  • Strong skills in performance optimization, testing, and debugging.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to understand requirements and document application features.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
