About the Role: As a senior leader in our technology organization, you will play a pivotal role in enabling us to deliver our ambitious goals. We are seeking an exceptional individual who can lead teams in building large-scale card issuing and transaction processing systems that execute hundreds of policies with sub-second latencies.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define the technology roadmap for various products, review architectural and technological choices, and optimize processes for productivity. Additionally, you will build high-performing teams, assess skill gaps, collaborate with operations teams to monitor service level agreement (SLA) adherence, and mentor and manage engineering managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Technology Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Build, motivate, and inspire high-performing teams that drive innovation and excellence.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements that increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Skill Development: Assess team members' skills and develop training plans to address knowledge gaps.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business processes.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to engineering managers to help them grow professionally.
Requirements:
  • Distributed Systems Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing distributed systems that scale.
  • Relational Databases Understanding: Knowledge of relational databases and ability to design efficient database schemas.
  • Transactional and Analytical Workloads: Experience in handling high-transaction volumes and analytical workloads.
  • Object-Oriented Analysis and Design: Mastery of object-oriented analysis and design principles.
  • Web and Mobile Application Technology Stack: Familiarity with web and mobile application technologies.
