Big Data ETL Specialist

Empowering Intelligence Gathering with AI and ML-based Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Big Data ETL specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute user acceptance tests in QA/production labs using multiple machines/VMs.
  • Deploy product suites/components across various environments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Big Data components like Hadoop, SOLR, Kafka, and other data sources for ETL.
  • Apply knowledge of ETL concepts, flow, debugging, and validating data sources.
  • Gather hands-on experience in end-to-end debugging, Linux, and Networking concepts.
  • Develop good understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols and end-to-end data flow in networks.
  • Cultivate expertise in SDLC & STLC.
  • Prepare test strategy and write functional/non-functional end-to-end test cases.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Python / Shell script / Java and automation.

Requirements

  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of ETL concepts, Big Data components (Hadoop, SOLR, Kafka), Linux, Networking, and SDLC/STLC.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience in end-to-end debugging, automation tools (Python, Shell script, Java), and Cloud platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
