We are seeking a highly skilled Denial Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling billing and insurance-related issues, identifying and resolving insurance denial reasons.
You will also be responsible for following up on unpaid claims and ensuring timely filing of appeals. Additionally, you will maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and enhance revenue cycles.
Key Responsibilities:- Billing and Insurance Coordination: Handle billing and insurance-related issues, identifying and resolving insurance denial reasons
- Claim Follow-up: Follow up on unpaid claims and ensure timely filing of appeals
- Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and enhance revenue cycles
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in AR calling, billing, and insurance-related tasks
- Knowledge: Knowledge of denial management and insurance follow-up procedures
- Skills: Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, proficiency in healthcare revenue cycle management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, familiarity with healthcare systems and software
- Certifications/ Licenses: Experience in the US healthcare system
