The role of Financial Associate in the F&A Operate: Record to Report process is crucial for ensuring the smooth and timely completion of day-to-day transactions and activities.

This involves managing tasks related to Invoice Processing, Vendor Management, Travel & Expense Management, and Accounts Payable.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing:
  • Audit incoming invoices against company policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Validate invoice details against purchase orders and receipts to prevent discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor records to ensure accuracy and integrity in vendor data.
  • Support vendor onboarding and resolve queries related to payments to maintain a positive relationship.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any vendor discrepancies promptly.
  • Travel & Expense Management:
  • Review and process employee travel and expense claims in line with company policies to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Verify receipts and ensure proper documentation to prevent losses due to incorrect expenses.
  • Accounts Payable (AP):
  • Manage the AP cycle to ensure timely processing of payments to suppliers, maintaining a good working relationship.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies to prevent errors.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to AP to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field to provide a solid foundation in financial principles.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, or related finance functions to develop expertise.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy to maintain high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
