Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer for Advanced Systems to join our team. As a critical member of our infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining distributed, real-time systems that serve key stakeholders in our Global business.

You will optimize the operations of existing systems and infrastructure through automation and tooling, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Your expertise will be essential in building out foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems, both new and existing.

Collaboration with development and quant teams is crucial to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across user interactions. You will monitor system capacity and performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and sources of instability before they affect stakeholders.

Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, analyzing their impact on infrastructure and service operations, is vital to our team's success. Additionally, you will participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, evaluating and selecting the best technologies and automation strategies for our needs.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell; ability to comprehend C# and develop basic applications.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible).
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
