Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled data professional to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and integration solutions in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Develop advanced ETL pipelines for batch data ingestion and egress using scalable architectures.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose efficient solution designs.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify issues and implement effective root cause solutions.
  • Data Quality: Ensure data quality, reliability, and adherence to best practices in data engineering.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of problem definitions, solutions, and architecture.
  • Independence: Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring project deadlines are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Azure Fundamentals: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (preferred).
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (preferred).
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
  • Azure Cloud Services: Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services, ADF, and Databricks.
  • Apache Spark: Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark & Scala Spark).
  • ETL Pipelines: Expertise in designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines for batch data.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
