Laser System Designer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative laser-based technologies for detecting, tracking, and neutralizing unmanned aerial threats.
Key Responsibilities:- Laser System Design & Development:
- Design and develop cutting-edge laser subsystems including high-energy lasers (HEL), laser rangefinders, and beam control systems.
- Select and integrate advanced optical components such as lenses, mirrors, beam expanders, and cooling systems to optimize system performance.
- Integrate laser modules with tracking systems, sensors, and countermeasure platforms to ensure seamless operation.
- Conduct rigorous lab and field testing to validate system performance under various operational conditions.
- Ensure compliance with strict laser safety standards and regulations.
- Implement interlocks, shielding, and fail-safe mechanisms in system design to guarantee operator safety.
- Prepare detailed design documents, test reports, and user manuals to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate version-controlled records of design iterations and test outcomes to inform future developments.
- Work closely with software, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure effective integration and delivery of complex projects.
- Support customer demonstrations, field trials, and technical evaluations to demonstrate system capabilities and value.
