GNM Nurse Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled GNM nurse to take on key responsibilities in our healthcare institution.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating theatre for scheduled procedures, ensuring optimal cleanliness and readiness.
  • Support surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, prioritizing patient safety and care.
  • Oversee patient discharge processes according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams in general anesthesia cases.
  • Verify and inspect intraocular lenses and other surgical equipment before use.
  • Manage central sterile supply department duties, including cleaning, drying, and sterilizing surgical instruments using autoclaves.
  • Conduct regular crash cart inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Prepare patients in the ward prior to surgery, adhering to strict pre-operative protocols.
  • Ensure uninterrupted workflow by refilling and restocking OT 4 drugs and surgical trolleys regularly.

Requirements:

  • Valid GNM nursing degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
