Tender Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and computer skills to manage the Government E-Marketplace (GeM) portal.

  • Manage categories, upload products, and facilitate tendering processes.
  • Handle electronic tendering, respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), and requests for quotes (RFQs).
  • Submit documents on various portals such as GeM, Central Public Procurement (CPP), Material Procurement (MP), Defence, and State Government platforms.

Tender Preparation & Submission:

  • Prepare and submit bids, bank guarantees, fixed deposit receipts (FDRs), and demand drafts (DDs) in accordance with tender requirements.
  • Clarify bid conditions and ensure alignment with company requirements.
  • Analyze tender documents, prepare comparative statements, and participate in pre-bid meetings.

Vendor Registration & Coordination:

  • Establish relationships with government departments for vendor registrations, approvals, and renewals.
  • Follow up with vendors for timely deliveries and quotations.

Administrative Support:

  • Utilize Coral Draw and Photoshop to create drawings.
  • Manage filing, phone calls, and administrative tasks, including salary and attendance registers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and communication in English and Hindi.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience with e-procurement and tendering.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • Experience liaising with government bodies is an asset.
