We are looking for a seasoned Backend Architect to spearhead the development of our server-side infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable APIs and services that power complex business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Services Design and Implementation: Utilize Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) or Node.js (Express, NestJS) to design and implement backend services that meet enterprise requirements.
  • API Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for enterprise applications, ensuring seamless integration with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Database Integration: Integrate applications with various databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Security and Optimization: Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, optimize backend performance through caching, query tuning, and async processing.
  • Deployment and Monitoring: Deploy applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Programming Experience: Strong programming experience in Python or Node.js, with proficiency in SQL databases and NoSQL databases.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with ORM tools (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, Prisma, TypeORM) and knowledge of API best practices.
  • System Architecture: Understanding of enterprise system architecture, including microservices and modular monoliths.
  • Asynchronous Programming: Familiarity with asynchronous programming concepts.

Nice to Have:

  • Message Brokers: Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Celery).
  • DevOps Tools: Exposure to DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Enterprise Experience: Previous experience in ERP/CRM/PLM/enterprise workflows.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of backend development experience in enterprise applications.
  • Skillset: Proven ability to deliver secure and scalable systems.
