Strategic Supply Chain Manager

As a senior manager in the supply chain management department, your role will involve overseeing demand planning, supply planning, and materials management for branded products. You will be responsible for analyzing sales data to forecast demand, identifying opportunities to optimize inventory levels, and implementing strategies to minimize waste.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine product demand through analysis of historical sales data, customer trends, and market research
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies
- Analyze and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery terms
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and lead times
Professional Experience:
- Proven working experience in demand and supply planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Expertise in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP to manage supply chain operations
- Able to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management, business administration, or engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in supply chain management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
