SAP ABAP Developer Role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP professional with 5-7 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing custom SAP applications using ABAP. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various SAP modules, including RICEF components, module pool programming, and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Custom Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP applications using ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Extensions, Forms, Workflows – RICEF).
  • Collaboration and Technical Solutions: Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • OData Services and API Development: Develop OData services, CDS Views, and ABAP-based APIs for Fiori/UI5 applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize existing programs for performance and maintainability.
  • Debugging and Enhancement: Work on debugging, troubleshooting, and enhancing SAP standard objects.
  • Code Review and Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in ABAP development.
  • Migration and Upgrade Support: Support migration and upgrade projects including S/4HANA transitions.
Requirements:
  • SAP ABAP Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
  • RICEF Components: Strong knowledge of RICEF components, module pool programming, and enhancements.
  • S/4HANA Experience: Experience with S/4HANA (at least 1 project preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in OData, CDS Views, and RESTful ABAP programming model.
  • Integration Knowledge: Good understanding of integration with functional modules like FICO, MM, SD, etc.
  • Agile Environment: Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
