Oracle APEX Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing and integrating solutions in the Oracle eBusiness Suite.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, SOAP and REST APIs. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, customize and integrate solutions in Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS).
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Work on customizations, system enhancements and integration of Oracle Applications.
  • Ensure optimal performance, scalability and security of Oracle-based applications.
  • Support existing Oracle applications, troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions.
  • Utilize Oracle JDeveloper, SQL-Plus and Oracle Forms Builder for development tasks.
  • Implement PL/SQL, Oracle APEX and Web Services (SOAP, REST) for robust solutions.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate with cloud platforms and middleware tools like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Oracle Applications development.
  • Proficiency in Oracle development tools such as Oracle JDeveloper, SQL-Plus and Oracle Forms Builder.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Experience in customizations, integrations and system enhancements for Oracle eBS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Oracle Applications Development certifications are highly preferred.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar middleware platforms.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
