Server Firmware Engineer

Design, develop and maintain firmware solutions based on cutting-edge server hardware technologies.

As a seasoned embedded systems developer, you will work on advanced firmware solutions using the OpenBMC platform, focusing on Linux system programming and strong understanding of embedded systems.

  • Develop firmware solutions for server hardware platforms.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to bring up new platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain BMC protocols and features.
  • Write and maintain clear documentation for firmware and system features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems firmware development.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenBMC and Yocto Project.
  • Proficient in C, C++, and scripting languages like Python or Shell.
  • Strong understanding of Linux kernel, device drivers, and system bring-up.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience contributing to the OpenBMC upstream community.
  • Knowledge of server hardware platforms.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
