Quality Assurance Specialist

This role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of software delivery across platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and execute test plans for application interfaces and operations, guaranteeing seamless interactions between systems.
  • Maintain quality standards through regular code reviews, utilizing tools like Sonar Cloud to monitor code quality metrics.
  • Track and resolve defects from QA findings in a timely manner, minimizing their impact on the product.
  • Ensure release readiness by conducting thorough reviews and validating quality criteria prior to deployment.
  • Promote audit readiness and escalate unresolved issues to facilitate compliance and internal/external reviews.
  • Analyze and report vulnerabilities using Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio, implementing corrective measures to mitigate risks.
  • Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams, to achieve shared objectives.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for QA-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation and procedures for QA processes, facilitating knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Compile weekly status reports highlighting progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection, enabling data-driven decision making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • In-depth knowledge of static code analysis and vulnerability scanning, including proficiency in tools like Sonar Cloud.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, driving collaboration and mutual support.
